How about some drawings?
In all my practices, my energy ebbs and flows. In massage, I float between modalities; in my men's work, I explore a multitude of feelings, emotions, bodies, and desires; and in my visual art practice, I express myself in a variety of mediums.
Last night, I walked back into my art studio after a one-month absence. This always happens with me—I work in my art studio when I feel most in line with that energy. I had done a series of drawings at the end of the summer that lay neatly in a pile off to the side. I had a look…
Drawing is one of my most cherished ways of expressing myself. It has been this way my entire life. Drawing is visceral, immediate; it brings energy to the surface and moves it. Drawing, I feel, is my most direct route to flow. When I draw, it is fast—faster than my mind can comprehend, challenge, or direct. For me, drawing is dancing with the transcendental, flowing with the energy that sits just below the surface of everything.
When I looked over the drawings I had done, I could feel their power, their depth, and their energy. Did I feel this when doing them? Yes, but when making one, I don't see it—seeing takes time—and this past month of rest from the art studio allowed me to return and see what I had found.
I'm sharing that bit of my process with you here, along with the drawings I completed at the end of my 2026 summer.
These recent works explore the interplay between movement and stillness, translating fleeting emotions and subtle shifts in energy into visual form. Each drawing attempts to capture a moment of transition—the quiet tension before change or the lingering trace of an emotion as it dissipates. Through line, gesture, and composition, I hope to invite you into these moments of presence and transformation.
All works are available for purchase if you find an energy inside one that resonates with you.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my process and my art. I hope these drawings resonate with you as deeply as they do with me.
